Baby Orangutan

I’m working on a commission for a Christmas present.

The person is very fond of monkeys, mainly Orangutangos. After I searched I decided to make a baby one and of course I’m doing it in my style.

Here’s a little clip from the work so far.

I’m back

It has being a long time since I was here, but I’m back! I have being very busy, working and exhibiting, and also moving studios.

What I want to share today is a video that was made from one of my exhibitions, I am not very good talking about my work, as you will see it, but it is an important part of my journey

Another teasing picture of my work!

Another detail

I have finished this piece and this is another detail, now it is drying and waiting to be fire.

This is a snick preview of my new work for the exhibition  “Cwmbran, Vale of the Crow”

A bit of research

I went to Victoria and Albert Museum in London to do some researching and came out inspired

New series

I am starting a new series of magical realism landscapes, this one is for the Workers Gallery. At the moment it is drying and waiting to be fired. I used red terracotta for this work, as I want it to be organic as possible. Usually I don’t use terracotta , but for this work I think it is a must and, apart from the mess, I am enjoying work with it, it is quite soft and wet, I like it.
