He Even Has a Head

I had some progress with my man, now he even has a head and still standing. Very nice!

  1. I admire your ability to work with clay. I struggle with two dimensional art, let alone adding the third. Thanks for visiting and following my blog. I hope you enjoyed your visit and will come back often. I have followed you also, and look forward to getting better acquainted over the coming months and years. 🙂 Marsha

    1. Hello Marsha, thanks for your words. I’ve always been a painter and worked and 2D, but I had a strong desire to make sculptures. When I decided to go back to University in 2010, I had the opportunity to work with ceramics and simply fell in love with the material. Now I work with the two, but more sculptures than paintings. It is very gratifying to see the development of sculpture.

      1. Well good luck to you and enjoy. My first and only sculpture was in 7th grade, and I remember that it was put in the showcase at school, but it was quite rustic, and even the art teacher didn’t particularly accuse it of being a promise of talent. 🙂
