Developing a technique

For the past six months, I’ve developed a technique using straw in clay for texture. After many failed attempts, I finally am able to reach a good result. I was developing this technique for use in my past project, and only just managed to master the technique. I still have a great way to go, because I have to find the right temperature to fire the piece. I will probably be using this technique  in my tree houses, as a complement to the finish.
